It's Friday night, and I feel alright
Thoughts on the day:
1. I laughed at some of these sport quotes/
2. I was emo today. Tired, cranky, and overly apathetic. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. No idea why. I relaxed on my own and watched TV all night, and I feel tons better. Weird.
3. We have an IM program at work that allows you to have a "status" that is listed under your name on the client. It's generally used for things such as "working from home today" or "focused on project X". The best thing I could think of to put there was "I ain't got time to bleed". Yes, I need suggestions on good work appropriate quotes. I have no originality.
4. I wish the Cubs were still playing. At least I have football.
5. I discovered the Jimi Hendrix song "All Along The Watchtower" last night due to a cover band. I think I'm in love. Its not like I'm 30 years too late or anything.
6. We're having an 80's themed halloween at work this year, and the rest of the guys on my team think I should dress up as a baby (since that's what I was in the 80's). I'm strangely tempted. It'll definitely be an improvement over last year's costume of a horse head and a noose (hung like a horse... get it? See, it's a pun? Yeah?... ok.)
7. I bought a Wii as a present for Sally earlier this week. I hate to admit this, but I'm sitting here and have almost zero desire to play it. Is it possible for my love of gaming to have completely died? It only looks fun when someone else is playing.
